Q. How do I change my password?
A. After you log in with your current username and password provided to you by NCBP, click on the far left bar entitled "Administration." You will be brought to a page entitled "Edit My Account." Here, you can edit all aspects of your account, including changing your password. Note that if you change your password, you will be prompted to enter it again to confirm the change. You should enter the new password when so prompted.


Q. What if I forget my username and/or password?
A. Contact Cynthia or Iraida using the contact information below and they will provide you with this information. You will be given the same username as previously assigned, but your password will be changed.

Q. How do I submit a Search Request?
A. Click on the "New Request" link on the main bar. You will be brought to a page entitled "Patient Registration." Please fill in the information and then click on the "Submit Patient" button on the bottom of the page.


Q. How do I review the status of my submitted Search Requests?
A. Click on the "Active Request" link on the main bar. A list of the patients for whom you have submitted requests will appear. Click on the "view" link for the appropriate patient. You will be brought to the "Patient Registration" page. On the bottom of this page will be the history of the request, including the date it was entered and any dates the request was updated.

In addition, you will have the ability to edit information for this patient by clicking the "Edit Patient" link near the bottom of the page.


Q. What are the different ways that I can use to find submitted Search Requests?
A. Click on the "Find Request" link on the main bar. You can search for a patient by his/her first or last name.

Q. How do I log out or back in?
A. To log out of the administration section, press the logout button at the top right of your screen. In order to log back in, you'll need to restart your browser. This is a security measure put into place to prevent the personal data of your patients from being available to others. If you forget to log out, you will be automatically logged out after ten minutes of inactivity. It is always safest to log out or close your browser (or both) once you've finished your tasks.
